BBVA Bancomer Office Tower

Having worked closely with Legorreta + Legorreta over a 25 year period our collaboration and contributions have been key to surmounting the obstacles presented in the design and construction of the most technologically sophisticated tower in Mexico. The client was particularly interested in our experience with sustainable lighting practices and with LEED certification.

Our design intention to elegantly highlight the primary exposed structures of the façade gives the tower its signature shape and texture and provides a beacon of light at the top. Within the building, lighting models the sharp geometries of the interior spaces, creating welcoming environments.

Designed at the time of the LED revolution, FMS was able to consider and implement a successful transition from traditional light sources to cutting edge LED technology.
