Michal LaRue
Senior Designer
Ms. LaRue joined FMS in 2016 after completing her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Cincinnati with a minor in Historic Preservation. Before graduation, she interned in both lighting design and high-end residential architecture. Michal’s experience in lighting design continues to grow through a broad range of work spanning higher education, hospitality, museums, retail, and historic renovations. Her technical strengths stem from her design background and blend with a passion for light as the most integral and experiential material in architecture. She has worked for FMS in both New York and Seattle.
When not in the office, Michal may be found searching for great food, great books, and great places (combining the three as often as possible). Her affinity for historic buildings continues to take her on excursions within Seattle and beyond.
