2000 Avenue of the Stars

Los Angeles, California

Client: CB Richard Ellis
Architect: Gensler
Landscape Architect: SWA Group
Completion: 2007
LEED Silver®

2000 Avenue of the Stars is a redevelopment of the former ABC Entertainment Center and sits at the epicenter of Century City. The 720,000 square-foot, multi-use commercial space is a progressive leader in the environmental and sustainable design, incorporating energy saving features in all design and operation of the building.

Located above a six-level subterranean parking garage, the twelve-story structure appears to float on a glass-skinned lobby that reveals expansive views of both the plaza and main entry. A magnificent backlighted wall glows within the lobby while patterned vertical light coves add a playful element to the public eye. Light bollards dot the park area, mirroring the lobby’s vertical light coves to give a heightened visual perspective as well as to softly illuminate the landscape.
