In the heart of Taipei’s booming technology district, the Hsinchu Station is one of the premier terminals on the new Taiwan High-Speed Rail system.
The soaring terminal roof is an elegant landmark. It is highlighted from a distance with a cluster of compact metal halide floodlights mounted to a 10m pole on each side. The plaza is bathed in a soft white light. A custom-designed fluorescent up/downlight uniformly illuminates the platform edge and platform canopy.
Commissioned art is featured throughout the station.
