Jones Day

Having designed the lighting for Jones Day’s existing Midtown offices, FMS was selected to collaborate with SOM and the client team in the creation of a welcoming, state-of-the-art interior environment for Jones Day’s new Battery Park City offices.
FMS’s design integrates the architect’s vision for an innovative and unique space with the client’s functional workspace requirements. The result juxtaposes softly glowing luminous planes in meeting and reception areas with sleek downlights integrated into the ceiling module in the open and private offices.
The project’s centerpiece is a custom-designed chandelier in the corporate dining room, composed of thousands of randomly patterned, luminous points, creating a unique starry sky effect.
