Korea Development Bank

Seoul, South Korea

Client: Korea Development Bank
Architect: DMJM / Hee-Rim Architects & Engineers
Completion: 2002

Korea Development Bank is a leading investment bank in Asia. Their new headquarters convey the dynamism and transparency that guides their philosophy.

The lighting design transforms the building volumes into luminous lanterns at night, emphasizing the play between the different geometric shapes.

Thoughtfully organized groups of light fixtures not only illuminate the spaces but also complement the different architectural features. Strategically located fixtures uplight the oversized canopies, rendering them as light, soaring surfaces.
