Claiming a quarter mile of the Las Vegas Boulevard, the $8.5 billion CityCenter creates a new vivacious retreat for travelers seeking gaming, entertainment and first-class luxury. CityCenter is designed to be a city in itself, offering over 6,500 room keys within 4 hotel and condominium towers, each designed by a renowned architect.

FMS collaborated on the prestigious ARIA, a 4,004-room 61-story luxury resort and casino designed by Cesar Pelli. Working alongside a leading group of consultants to complete the project by its scheduled opening in December 2009, we lighted over 250,000 square feet of public space including View Bar, Bar Masa & Shaboo (designed by Richard Bloch Architect, Julian Serrano (designed by Gente de Valor), Jean Philippe Patisserie (designed by Norwood Oliver Design Associates), HAZE nightclub (designed by ICRAVE), Radiance watch/jewelry boutique (designed by Peter Marino Architect), 165,000 square feet of world class casino, and the exclusive Sky Villas suites.

Suspended within the ARIA lobby above the check-in desk is Maya Lin’s latest sculpture “Silver River”. This 84-foot cast of the Colorado River begot numerous lighting challenges due it its narrow serpentine profile, use of reflective material and the requirements to conceal all light fixtures from public view.
