Rising 42-floors and offering impressive views of downtown Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean, Robert A.M. Stern Architects has mastered the balance of designing a building that is highly sustainable while elegantly luxurious. With 140 apartments occupying over 850,000 square feet, ranging from two and four-bedroom residences to penthouse duplexes, this elliptical condominium echoes Stern’s aesthetic with traditional detailing and conservative color palette.

Daylight is integral to the design of the main lobby as a large wall of windows stream natural light, complemented by highly efficient fluorescent sources to add warmth and intrigue to the interior. Over-scaled cylindrical chandeliers grace the rear lobby, creating a pleasing, intimate environment that leads to expansive lawns and gardens organized around a tranquil reflecting pool.

The Century is registered with the US Green Building Council with LEED Silver Certification.
