Senior Lighting Designer

 

Fisher Marantz Stone, Inc. seeks Senior Lighting Designer in New York, NY to manage projects from design concept to completion. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Architecture, Engineering, Lighting, Interior Design, or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or related occupation: analyzing architectural plans and detail drawings utilizing knowledge of lighting science and the functioning of light fixtures; performing photometric calculations; calculating lighting loads and lighting power densities; graphically communicating architectural concepts; performing photometric measurement of spaces; reviewing commercial lighting fixture, fabrication and dimming systems to perform detailed review of contractors’ submittals; and utilizing AutoCAD or Revit and AGi32. Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accreditation required. Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally.
