Julianne Cancalosi
BIM Manager

Ms. Cancalosi was looking for a change of pace and that brought her to FMS. The more detailed story is that Alex Coulombe (FDA and Agile Lens) pointed Julianne towards a position with us. Initially part-time, she enjoyed the work more than her day job (and also missed working in a smaller office), so having gotten a foot in the door – she proposed coming on board in a full-time capacity – and Long Story Short – she’s here!!!
Julianne’s background is in architecture (having graduated from Syracuse University). Following graduation, she worked at a small-town design firm and then came to NYC where she was part of a big corporate design studio. These two diverse architectural experiences allowed her to work on a wide variety of projects – almost all of which were in Revit®. She’s “excited to integrate Revit® more into FMS’s workflow!” and Julianne is now an ‘Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit® for Architectural Design.’
Outside of the office, Julianne’s biggest hobby is being too busy, HaHa! She loves storytelling, especially through drawing and Table Top Role Playing Games (TTRPGs). She also enjoys rock climbing — mostly indoors as of now but she’s beginning to find her way outside – onto real rocks, boulders, and cliffsides. Though she hasn’t had as much time as she would like lately, music and theater are a big part of her life. Most of all, Julianne loves making things and working with her hands! Cosplay is the biggest outlet for that — lots of sewing and prop making!
Many hands make light work
